2024 school year closed out

Winter break came and went. Then we did more art projects based on season and holidays. Spring break came. It was a good year. Summer vacation is almost over.

In art, we have done lots of small projects. I did try to incorporate all the holidays. It's been busy. I have been doing art and then covering a class. It wasn't until the last two days before the break that I could float. We have been on break since 19. I am so happy to be on break. We have done Thanksgiving crafts, Halloween, and Christmas, and try to include other holidays.

Aug 26- Oct 7

The past month or maybe two have been very busy. We have been doing crumpled paper, Van G Sunflower, learned about Monet and Picasso, fixed and finished paintings and drawings, do a project for another teacher which is finished just have to get it to the teacher,sticker art for teacher, tape art, Monet drawing, make signs for principal of the day, leaf drawing, scarecrows with popsicle sticks, and use wine boxes and tp rolls and paper towel rolls to make a scarecrow. Also glue leaves on a cardboard for fall. We have made a card and decorate a picture frame for a one on one- it needs to be finished. I have also been cover classes and float. Work on preparation for classes. I also have seen children be way happier in art then in class. We did get fall break which I had a lot of fun.
